Abuja, Nigeria— October 26th, 2023— The Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) has embarked on a momentous journey to bolster the professionalism and ethical conduct of the Nigerian Police Force. Through a comprehensive training program held at the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department in Abuja, PPDC is dedicated to enlightening Nigerian police officers on crucial legal frameworks, which encompass the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, the Police Act 2020, and the overarching Rule of Law.
Speaking at the training workshop, the Chief Executive Officer, of PPDC, Mr Jubril Shittu said that the training aims to promote improvement in the justice system through training, capacity, and information exchange, He also mentioned that PPDC is not just engaging but also looking at improving case management and information management.
The Commissioner of Police, Anti Fraud, FCID, CP Akoh A Gabriel was very pleased about the initiative and urged the officers present to pay rapt attention as this will help to improve the professionalism of the police and strengthen public trust in the police. According to him, the training will help for better understanding among the police and legal professionals to enhance the justice system.
This training program is an invaluable investment in the future of the Nigerian Police Force as it would help to promote the rule of law in Nigeria.
