and the Economy
PPDC’s Digital Governance, rights, inclusion and the economy program ensures that the digital rights and privacy for internet users are guaranteed, that teenagers and adolescents are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities available online and to understand when their safety is threatened, improved digital safety knowledge of parents, teachers, and students across. This also means enhanced public knowledge, capacity and understanding of the digital economy and regulations, individuals’ businesses are guaranteed access to the digital space economy, and their fundamental human rights are protected.
PPDC prioritizes meaningful partnerships and collaborations by identifying various stakeholders working on technology and internet issues and identifying or contributing to policies that promote equitable participation and inclusion in the digital economy. PPDC’s focus also includes promoting the online space as a safe environment for promoting dialogue.
We have a DISI Virtual Online Safety program for parents and teachers where we train caregivers and guardians on the best ways to help support their wards as they explore the online world, the DISI technology in business will engage advocacy related to ease of doing business, tech environment regulations and consumer protection and privacy, and Internet governance and Digital rights program will continue to ensure that the legal and operational environment promotes the civic space and platforms for encouraging dialogue and tackling of information challenges.
